This past year, Standard Healthcare Plus took bold steps forward: launching new programs, opening new pathways to employment, and deepening our reach in Hagerstown, Clinton, and Baltimore City. This report shares what we have accomplished together — and where we are headed next.

Charles County expansion — planning underway
We have begun site selection and regulatory planning to bring OMHC and IOP services to Charles County — a growing community adjacent to our Clinton location with significant unmet mental health need.
Coming Year 2
Small business employer network launched
We recruited our first cohort of local small business employer partners in Hagerstown and Clinton — including retail, food service, and community organizations — committed to hiring individuals in mental health recovery.
New this year
Staff training program formally established
We launched a structured annual training calendar covering trauma-informed care, cultural competency, crisis intervention, IPS employment practices, and documentation standards across all clinical staff.
New this year
Hagerstown capacity significantly expanded
In direct response to growing demand in Washington County, we hired additional licensed clinicians and a PHP specialist at our Hagerstown location — increasing capacity to serve more individuals in Western Maryland.
Expanded
CARF accreditation pathway — preparation begun
We implemented outcomes measurement tools across all six programs this year as part of our CARF accreditation preparation. Accreditation target: 2027.
In progress
Nonprofit funding partnerships — first collaborations secured
SHCP established its first formal nonprofit funding collaborations, submitting grant applications to SAMHSA and Maryland BHA and building relationships with county foundations in Prince George's and Washington Counties.

Supportive Employment
"When I started the IOP program, I didn't believe I could hold a job. Within six months of completing treatment and connecting with the employment team, I was hired by a local business in Clinton. That job gave me structure — and my confidence back."
— Client, Supportive Employment Program, Clinton, MD
"The PHP program in Hagerstown gave me somewhere to be every day when I was struggling the most. The staff knew my name, they knew my goals, and they showed up for me when I couldn't show up for myself."
— Client, Partial Hospitalization Program, Hagerstown, MD
"Being part of the team at Standard Healthcare Plus means I'm doing work that matters every single day. The training we received this year — especially on trauma-informed care — made me a better clinician and a better colleague."
— Clinical Staff Member, SHCP Hagerstown
